Mr. Jeffrey A. Mohn, 59, of Waynesboro, PA passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 25, 2025, in his home, from natural causes.

Born August 10, 1965 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Richard K. and Darlene K. (Toms) Mohn. He was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.

He graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1983. He later attended Lumber Grading School in Memphis, TN at the National Hardwood Lumber Association Inspector Training School in 1984-1985.

Jeff started to work in the family business in 1980 at R.K. Mohn and Sons, that later became Mohn’s Lumber, in Waynesboro. He and his two brothers purchased the business in 2013, and he later retired in October 2023.

He attended services at Five Forks Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, traveling, working on home improvement projects, and more recently spending time with his constant canine companion, Haley. Jeff also enjoyed Nascar – including trips to Daytona, Richmond, and the Poconos. Jeff was a giver and found so much joy in helping others.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra A. “Debbie” (Stoops) Mohn; three sons, Jeffrey Mohn, Jr. and his wife, Marissa of Martinsburg, WV, Joshua Mohn and his wife, Gigi of Fayetteville, PA and Brandon Davis of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Lelia, Luke, Braxton, and Brycen; his siblings, Rick Mohn and his wife, Callie, Gwen Koons and her husband, Dave, Randy Mohn and his wife, Julie, and Roland Mohn and his wife, Nicky, all of Waynesboro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 1, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Ray Kipe officiating. Burial will follow in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville, PA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday evening, in the funeral home.
