WAYNESBORO – Dawn Linn, recently installed 2025-2026 Rotary district governor, outlined the goals she hoped to attain during her term.
She said her three main areas of emphasis will be growing membership, enhancing the public image of Rotary and supporting the Rotary Foundation.
Whenever the club is doing a project, she said, members should ask how it could promote new membership, how it could shine a brighter light on Rotary and how it could support the foundation to provide assets for future Rotary endeavors.
Something new she is supporting on this year’s Rotary calendar is Pies/Pints/Pours for Polio, a project where clubs would join with local businesses to raise funds for the End Polio Now campaign. The World’s Greatest Meal to Help End Polio is schedule for Oct. 23.
Linn praised Waynesboro Rotary for its commitment to youth projects and for its number of long-term members.
