ROUZERVILLE – Local News 1 readers love car shows, and this weekend was no exception. The Rouzerville Lions Club held its 2025 Car and Truck Show on Sunday, July 13, at Red Run Park along Pennsylvania Route 16. The event welcomed vehicles of all years, makes and models, including rat rods, street rods, late models and classic cars and trucks.
Despite the threat of rain, the show proceeded as scheduled, drawing enthusiasts and spectators from across the region. Participants began registering at 8 a.m., with voting closing at 1 p.m. and trophies awarded at 2:30 p.m. The first 100 entries received dash plaques, courtesy of C-Ely Signs and Graphics.
Awards were presented to the top 17 cars and top eight trucks, determined by drivers’ choice voting. Numerous door prizes were distributed throughout the day.
The event featured hot food, cold drinks and ice cream, as well as classic rock and roll oldies music provided by RS Entertainment. Spectators attended free of charge, and the show maintained a family-friendly atmosphere with a strict policy prohibiting alcohol, smoking, drugs, pets and loud music during the event.
Local sponsors included the American Legion of Waynesboro, Hamner’s Truck & Trailer Repair, Linda Barkdoll of Ronnie Martin Realty, the Owls Club of Waynesboro, Lion Don Seilhamer of Antietam Realty, Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home and F&M Trust.
The Rouzerville Lions Club continued its tradition of celebrating community spirit and automotive enthusiasm, making the 2025 Car and Truck Show a memorable event for participants and visitors alike.
