The Summer Concert Series returns to Chambersburg Memorial Park’s Kiwanis Band Shell, promising a musical celebration for the whole community. On July 6 at 7 p.m., Leslie McKee brings contemporary Christian music to the stage. From 9 to 11 a.m. on July 5, participants of all ages can join educators for a hands-on lesson in tree identification, learning to spot local species by their leaves, bark and seeds before heading out on a guided hike. Born during the pandemic as a celebration of community and sound, the festival features local and regional acts on a dynamic outdoor stage. Headliners Ray Owen & Christine present “Hats off to America,” blending music and comedy for all ages, while The Missing Years close the night with light rock and patriotic favorites. When the stars come out on July 4, St. Paul UMC will light up with music, food, and fun for the whole family.
