CHAMBERSBURG— The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Franklin County will host a series of outdoor gardening workshops every Monday evening from June 30 through July 28, 2025. The Victory Garden Series will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the shed located at the Therapeutic Riding Center, across from the Penn State Extension Office at 181 Franklin Farm Lane.
Each session in the five-part series costs $10 and is open to the public. Topics include plant troubleshooting, pest management, pepper cultivation, herb gardening and weed identification. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and prepare for hands-on activities, as workshops will be held rain or shine.
