Mrs. Martha M. (Haugh) Sanders, 89, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away, Monday, June 16, 2025, in Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA
Born November 8, 1935, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Warren L. and Minnie G. (Hampton) Haugh.
She attended Waynesboro Area Schools.
In her earlier years, Martha worked at Connie Sports Wear, Waynesboro, and most recently worked at South Mountain Restoration Center where she held a position in housekeeping.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Freeman-Smith and her husband Butch of Woodsboro, MD, Mike Freeman and his wife, Jean of Waynesboro, Robert Freeman of McConnellsburg, PA, and Dennis Freeman and his companion Tina of Maine; 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Gilbert L. Freeman and Gregory E. Freeman, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
