Cynthia “Cindy” Lee (Ommert) Trostle, 73, of Chambersburg, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Brookview Healthcare Center at Menno Haven.

Born May 3,1952, in Adams County, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late John Hoke and Vera (Crider) Ommert. Cindy grew up in Westminster, MD and was a 1970 graduate of Westminster Senior High School, where she was class secretary. Upon graduation, Cindy was the secretary to the director of Food Services at the then Western Maryland College in Westminster, MD. In 1978, she started as a sales consultant with Vanda Beauty Counselor. She quickly worked her way to Area Manager, working from her office in our home. As her business grew, she had the opportunity to be an understudy for her distributor, before taking over the distributorship in 1989. She was regularly the top sales counselor, area manager, and distributor in the nation. Cindy retired from Vanda in 2015. She was a member of Marion First United Methodist Church where she served on a variety of committees. She cherished being with people, helping others and spending time with her family. Cindy was a friend to everyone that she met and truly a beautiful lady both inside and out.
