WAYNESBORO-On Friday, Sept. 30, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. join Music Makers as they host “South Mountain Bucks” at 46 W. Main St.
The South Mountain Bucks feature Chuck Krepley and Burr Beard. They are an acoustic duo performing Appalachian and Celtic music on a variety of instruments. Burr Beard and Chuck Krepley live on opposite sides of South Mountain in Central Pennsylvania, so the name is a natural. Burr performs on hammered dulcimer and sings while Chuck plays fiddle, banjo, and guitar, with an occasional assist on vocals. Both are veteran performers with a multi-decade history of performing in bands across Pennsylvania.
