We finally got a chance to stop in and try Avocado Cafe in Chambersburg.
They are located at 1048 Lincoln Way East (behind MedExpress).
Not a large dining area, but clean and well-illuminated.
We seated ourselves. No server. Order from the menu at the register.
We tried the shrimp quesadilla—cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos, with a side of salsa and sour cream.
Came out crispy and hot. Cheese was melted perfectly and the jalapenos gave it that extra kick that we like.
We also ordered the Cap Cana Panini—ham, provolone cheese, avocado, mayo, roasted red pepper and fresh spinach, which was served with a side of chips and pickle.
We had water as a beverage.
The bill total came to $22 and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes.
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We like this place and will put it on our go-to list. Hope you give them a try!
