WAYNESBORO—March is National Women’s History Month/Women Veterans Month and American Legion Post 15 will celebrate March 28, when post member Major Kathy Silvia, USA, Retired, will share a presentation on the Military Women’s Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery.
The memorial’s mission is to register and record the experiences of military women to share with the next generation. The Military Women’s Memorial is a one-of-a-kind tribute to America’s past and present servicewomen. It features an education center and an interactive site at www.womensmemorial.org.
