HAGERSTOWN, MD – As of 10:15 a.m., the Washington County Highway Department announced the following roads have reopened after being temporarily closed due to high water:
- Ashton Road
- Wishard Road
- Independence Road
The following roads remain closed:
- Cresspond Road
- Kemps Mill Road at the old mill
The County encourages all citizens to remain off the roads listed above. Citizens are also advised to refrain from driving through standing water.
