CHAMBERBSURG- The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance (CVBA) is calling all community members to nominate deserving individuals and businesses for its annual Awards Breakfast, set for March 28th. This year, the event unveils two exciting additions – Bravery in Blue and Courageous Responder awards – to recognize the bravery and dedication of law enforcement and Fire/EMS professionals in Franklin County.
“These new categories are a heartfelt way to acknowledge the sacrifices and heroism displayed by our first responders,”. “We’re deeply grateful for their tireless service, and we believe it’s crucial to shine a light on their exceptional contributions.”
Nominations are open for all award categories, including:
- Athena Leadership Award
- Event of the Year
- Emerging Business Leader
- Employer of the Year
- Innovator of the Year
- Nonprofit of the Year
- Spirit of the Community
- Bravery in Blue (For law enforcement officers)
- Courageous Responder (For fire and EMS personnel
To submit a nomination, please visit the CVBA website and complete the online form by February 5th. All nominations will be carefully reviewed by a selection committee, and winners will be announced at the Awards Breakfast on March 28th.
