SHIPPENSBURG- The Boys and Girls Club of Chambersburg and Shippensburg is proud to announce the return of the beloved “Santa Shed” to Downtown Chambersburg. With support of Downtown Chambersburg, Inc. (DCI) and Downtown Business Council (DBC), the Santa Shed will return to the space in front of the 11/30 Visitor’s Bureau. The Santa Shed will be open to the public November 25 & 26 and December 1-3, 2023. Santa will be available during scheduled hours for visitors and special activities will be taking place as well! Additionally, there will be a mailbox placed downtown for children to mail their letters to Santa.
The return of the Santa Shed to Chambersburg comes as a wonderful addition to the holiday festivities our community enjoys. Boys and Girls Club of Chambersburg and Shippensburg (BGCCS) CEO, Arcadia Clever, says, “I feel a lot of nostalgia for this project because the Santa Shed was such a fun part of my childhood. The Boys and Girls Club is excited to bring families together downtown this holiday season. We look forward to seeing you in November!”
