WAYNESBORO – Young entrepreneurs of Waynesboro are invited to showcase their talents at the upcoming Market in the Park Kids Vendor Day.
The event will be held on Saturday, September 2 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Kid vendors must be under the age of 18 and can only sell what they have handmade or home grown. Approved applicants under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Not sure what to bring? Here are a few ideas: homemade lemonade, bake sale items, handmade jewelry, arts and crafts, etc. Get creative!
Vendors must bring their own 6- to 8-foot table and chairs. To reserve a spot, please visit the Market in the Park website or Facebook page. The deadline to reserve a spot is August 18 and cost is $10.
This is a great opportunity for young people to learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and sales. It’s also a chance to show off their hard work and creativity to the community.
