WAYNESBORO– The Waynesboro Area Business, Education, and Community (WABEC) Foundation and the Waynesboro Area School District (WASD) will host a meet and greet event on Thursday, August 10, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce located at 118 Walnut Street, Waynesboro. The event will provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the WASD and the WABEC Foundation.
The WABEC Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to establish and promote activities to build partnerships among schools, businesses, and the community in Waynesboro. The foundation is eager to welcome new members and is seeking new partners. Dr. Rita Sterner-Hine, the WASD Superintendent, invites everyone to stop by and learn more about the WABEC Foundation and its mission.
In addition to the WABEC Foundation, WASD school administrators, board members, and the WABEC Foundation Board of Directors will be present at the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Todd Dishong, the WASD Assistant Superintendent, and Dr. Eric Holtzman, the WASD Business Administrator, among others.
The Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce is the best place to find an event in the Waynesboro PA area. The WABEC Foundation and WASD encourage everyone to attend the meet and greet event to learn more about their work in the Waynesboro community.
