CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County Career and Technology Center recognized its top students and staff during the annual Best of CareerTech 2025 celebration.
The event highlighted outstanding achievements across the center’s academies. Masen Dice earned the Best of Class WGAL Award for vet assisting, while Cade Byers was named Best of Construction Academy for electrical occupations. Julianne Walters took home Best of Health Sciences Academy for dental assisting, and Daniel McGuire was recognized as Best of Sales & Human Services Academy for marketing & web design.
Christian Clites received Best of STEM & Manufacturing Academy for mechatronics, and Matthew McKendrick was honored as Best of Transportation Academy for ag mechanics. The ceremony also recognized the 2025 National Technical Honor Society students.
Special staff recognitions included Principal Justin Sholes as Best Man Without A Script and Eric Wagaman as Best Piano Man. The Medical Assisting program was commended for best coordinating outfits among students, while staff members Daniel Stockman, Terry Miller and Lori Stockman received the same honor.
The event was marked by enthusiasm and pride as students, staff and families celebrated a year of excellence and achievement at CareerTech.
