Cancer survivors and their loved ones are invited to participate in a new, free virtual education series offered by WellSpan Health. The Cancer Survivorship Education Series is designed to help individuals better understand life after cancer treatment and to provide valuable resources for navigating the physical, emotional, and social challenges that may arise.
The series features four expert-led sessions covering topics such as life after treatment, sexual health, integrative care, and spiritual fitness. Each session offers an opportunity for discussion, support, and sharing among cancer survivors. All sessions are free and open to the public, with registration available online at WellSpan.org/Events by searching “Cancer Survivorship.” For more information, participants can call 717-217-6034.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- May 30, 2–3 p.m. EST: Life After Cancer Treatment
- August 26, 6–7 p.m. EST: Empowering Intimacy and Fertility: Navigating Sexual Health and Cancer
- September 24, Noon–1 p.m. EST: The Importance of Integrative Care During and After Oncology Treatment
- October 9, 2–3 p.m. EST: Spiritual Fitness
Each event is led by professionals with expertise in oncology, therapy, and wellness, ensuring participants receive up-to-date, compassionate guidance. The series aims to foster a sense of community and empowerment for those on the survivorship journey
