ADAMS COUNTY – Adams County voters went to the polls in higher numbers on Tuesday than their Franklin County counterparts. While still many races were uncontested, 23 percent of voters cast ballots, compared with neighboring Franklin County’s 15.7 percent. With few Democratic opponents areawide, Tuesday’s balloting meant that the uncontested seats were won, in many cases, by just a handful of voters.
