The Washington County Department of Parks & Recreation announced all county-owned parks will officially open on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Parks are open daily from sunrise until sunset, unless otherwise posted.
County-owned parks include:
- Camp Harding Park
- Chestnut Grove Park
- Clear Spring Park
- Devil’s Backbone Park
- Doub’s Wood Park
- Kemps Mill Park
- Marty Snook Park
- Mt. Briar Wetland Preserve
- Pen Mar Park
- Pinesburg Softball Complex
- Piper Lane Neighborhood Park
- Pleasant Valley Park
- Regional Park
- Rose’s Mill Park
- Tammany Park
- Wilson Bridge Picnic Area
- Woodland Way Neighborhood Park
If visiting a county-owned park, please remember to follow park rules and regulations, clean up after pets, and keep pets on a leash at all times. To make a pavilion reservation call 240-313-2700.
