The Borough of Chambersburg announces the start of its highly anticipated Fountain Fest celebration, presented by Shoemaker’s Insurance & Financial Services, beginning Friday, April 25, and running through Sunday, April 27. This three-day community event will transform downtown Chambersburg with food trucks, retail vendors, live entertainment, and family activities centered around the iconic downtown fountain.
“Fountain Fest has quickly become one of our community’s signature events, bringing together residents and visitors to celebrate the vibrant spirit of Chambersburg,” said [NAME], [TITLE] of the Borough of Chambersburg. “We’re particularly excited about Saturday’s ‘Fire Up the Fountain’ ceremony, which officially marks the beginning of spring in our community.”
The festival kicks off Friday evening with 15 food trucks in the Rosedale Parking Lot and attractions at the Hood Street Parking Lot from 5PM to 9PM.
Saturday features the main celebration from 11AM to 4PM with an expanded lineup of 30 food trucks and more than 30 retail vendors. Main Street will be closed to vehicles from 9AM to 6PM between King and Queen Streets to accommodate the festivities. The day’s highlight will be the noon “Fire Up the Fountain” ceremony hosted by News Talk 103.7 FM.
Additional Saturday attractions include:
- Beer Garden at Chambers Fort Park (12PM-4PM), sponsored by Rick Ribeiro – REMAX Elite Services
- Live music featuring Hannah Ponce (12PM-2PM) and Dalton Channell (2PM-4PM)
- Axe throwing, bounce houses, and a special activity zone hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Chambersburg and Shippensburg
Sunday rounds out the weekend with 15 food trucks at Rosedale Parking Lot and continued attractions at the Hood Street Parking Lot from 11AM to 5PM. Live entertainment at Chambers Fort Park will feature the Beth Holland Trio (12PM-2PM) and Harmony Hollar (2PM-4PM).

Event organizers remind the public that no cars should be parked on Main Street after 5:30AM on Saturday, April 26th.
