BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT – The Blue Ridge Summit Free Library will hold its fifth annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale on the Plaza on Saturday, May 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The sale, which is a fundraiser for the library, features a large assortment of annuals, perennials, native plants, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, herbs, patio planters and houseplants. These make perfect gifts for Mother’s Day,” said library board member, Paul Pinkerton.
In advance of the sale, plant donations of all kinds are wanted. Pots provided, if needed.
The library is planning other events during 2025, including the Annual Ice Cream Social & Book Sale on July 19, a silent auction fund-raiser on Nov. 2 and Yuletide At The Library on Dec. 13.
