CHAMBERSBURG – The Chambersburg Area School District celebrated a remarkable achievement as four of its schools have been recognized in the U.S. News & World Report’s “2025 best schools rankings.” Two elementary schools, Guilford Hills and Hamilton Heights, were named among the best elementary schools in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Chambersburg Area Middle School North and South secured spots on the prestigious list of top middle schools.
The rankings are based on state assessment data, evaluating student proficiency in core subjects. Schools must rank in the top 40 percent statewide to earn the “best” designation, emphasizing their commitment to academic excellence and student success.
