STATE LINE – The Middleburg/Mason-Dixon Line Historical Society will host its monthly meeting on Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m. at the State Line Ruritan Building. Kori Taber, programs and farmstead manager of Conococheague Institute in Mercersburg, will present “Frontier Life at the Conococheague Institute.”
Taber will provide an overview of frontier history, highlighting unique aspects of the Conococheague Institute site and its programs for area youth. She will discuss the launch of the “Animal Husbandry on the Frontier” program and share plans for celebrating the region’s history during the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
The meeting is open to the public and free of charge. The State Line Ruritan Building is located at 15481 Park Drive, off Route 11 at the State Line Community Park.
