GREENCASTLE – The Greencastle-Antrim School District will hold its second annual “Walk for Autism” on April 26, at Kaley Field, located behind Greencastle-Antrim High School. The event aims to promote autism awareness and support for students across the district.
The walk will feature participation from autistic support students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Additional walks will include students from kindergarten to fifth grade, with sensory-friendly stations and educational activities designed to foster inclusivity and understanding.
Proceeds from the event will fund resources, opportunities and support for students with autism. Organizers emphasize the importance of celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of all students in creating a dynamic and inclusive school community.
Community members are encouraged to join the event and help spread awareness about autism while supporting local students.
