HAGERSTOWN – Hagerstown is celebrating the artistic prowess of Kelly Nguyen, an 11th grade student at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. Kelly has emerged victorious in the Hagerstown Community College “Drawn to Fire” art deco competition, showcasing her exceptional creative skills.
As part of her prize, Kelly’s artwork will be showcased at the HCC Hawk Forge blacksmith shop, alongside other talented submissions. Additionally, she will have the unique opportunity to hone her skills in metalwork by participating in a complimentary blacksmithing class.
This achievement not only highlights Kelly’s artistic talent but also underscores the rich cultural and educational opportunities available in Hagerstown.
