Waynesboro Community Concert Association presents the fifth concert of its 2024-2025 season, Frederick Moyer and the Fred Moyer Jazz Trio.
Concert pianist Frederick Moyer has excited and delighted audiences in 44 countries – from the Sydney Opera House to Windsor Castle to Carnegie Recital Hall to the Kennedy Center. His performances exhibit impeccable training and exacting artistry in both classical music and jazz. Inventive technological enhancements, well-chosen programs and his relaxed verbal introductions help the audience get into the heart of the musical experience.
The Fred Moyer Jazz Trio, with piano, bass, and drums, is a swinging celebration of the best in jazz, thrilling both classical music lovers and long-time jazz enthusiasts.
The concert is Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 3 PM in the Waynesboro Area Senior High School Oyer Auditorium.
This is our yearly First Responder and Teacher Appreciation concert. First Responders and Teachers and their families may attend as WCCA guests.
Single tickets for $25 and new subscriptions for $50 for the 2025-2026 season (six concerts) are available at the door and online at www.waynesboropaconcerts.org. New subscribers may attend this concert for free. Subscriptions included concerts hosted by Gettysburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD community concert associations.
Concerts for the 2025-2026 season, “A Touch of Class”, include Bronx Wanderers, Pianomania, The Waddington Brothers, The Limeliters, Analisa and John, and GQ (Gentlemen’s Quartet).
Students from kindergarten through high school are invited to attend for free. Those in K-8 grade must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All WCCA concerts are held on Sundays at 3 PM in the WASH auditorium.
WCCA awards a Joseph Bowers Scholarship and the Kowallis Family Scholarship each spring to a graduating WASH student(s) who will pursue further music study in college.
