CHAMBERSBURG – Julian Rodriguez-Ramos, a 32-year-old man, has been arrested by Chambersburg police in connection with a shooting that occurred on Monday at the intersection of W. Catherine Street and S. Hackberry Drive. He faces charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
According to police, Monday’s shooting appears to be linked to another incident on March 10 in the vicinity of W. Catherine Street and Linden Avenue. Both shootings are believed to be targeted, and authorities have assured the public that there is no general danger.
In the recent incident, it is reported that Rodriguez-Ramos and another individual exchanged gunfire. The police are currently seeking the owner of a blue Jeep Compass, who is considered a person of interest in the investigation. At this time, the Jeep owner is not necessarily a suspect.
