GREENCASTLE – The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual Spring Clean Up Day, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event, aimed at beautifying the community, will kick off at Center Square in Greencastle. Volunteers will receive safety vests, gloves and trash bags before dispersing to various areas within and around the borough.
Chamber officials are calling on residents, community groups, clubs and business organizations to participate in the cleanup effort. The initiative, supported by Waste Management, seeks to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the area.
“This event is a great opportunity for our community to come together and make a tangible difference in the appearance of our town,” said a chamber representative.
Organizers are urging interested participants to register in advance to help with planning and resource allocation. The cleanup day is part of a series of annual events hosted by the chamber to foster community engagement and civic pride.
