Kenneth L. Singhas, Sr., 85, formerly of Greencastle, PA, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Chambersburg, PA, where he has resided since 2016.

Born September 17, 1939, in Winchester, VA, son of the late Austin T. and Jessie L. (Racer) Singhas.

He attended Clark County High School, Berryville, VA. He served in the National Guard from 1957 until 1966. He married Joyce R. (Cather) Singhas on September 9, 1961, in Crum’s Church, Berryville, VA.

Kenneth was employed as a truck driver, working for Ryder Truck Lines and CCX, among others. He eventually acquired his own rollback truck, which he used for about three years, before he retired in 2005.

He was a member of Mount Pisgah Masonic Lodge #443, Greencastle.

Before his illness, Mr. Singhas enjoyed antique cars, horses and motorcycles.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his five children: Kenneth L Singhas, Jr., and his wife, Pam of Williamsport, MD, Richard K. Singhas, and his wife, Amanda of Cheyenne, WY, Patricia L. Komes of Shippensburg, PA, Wayne A. Singhas and his wife, Becki, of Marion, PA and Melissa R. Burner, and her husband, R. Dean of Winchester, VA; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Rodney A. Singhas of Front Royal, VA, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Faye Timmons.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. Greencastle, PA, with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
