Renee Mary Anderson, 63, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 in the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 5, 1961 in Endicott, NY she was the daughter of the late John G. Zeitz, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Love) Lilley.
She was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School with the Class of 1979. Renee was an entrepreneur throughout her career and was a very hard worker. She loved her North American Spotted Draft Horses and playing with her blue-heeler pup, Buford. Renee also loved spending time at Benchfield Farms with her friends.
She is survived by her step-mother, Evelyn Zeitz of Clarksburg, MD; brother, John G. Zeitz, Jr. (Deborah) of Damascus, MD; nephews, John G. Zeitz, III of Gaithersburg, MD and Connor Zeitz (Rosemary) of Middle River, MD; great-nephew, Michael J. Zeitz; and other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Anderson who passed away in 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
