Wilma Louise Carbaugh, age 80, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Shook Home. Born August 5, 1944, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ezra Sylvester and Mary Bushman Bowman .
Mrs. Carbaugh was a member of Zion Reformed Church in Chambersburg. She worked in retail sales throughout her career. She enjoyed chatting with friends and family.
She is survived by one son, Joseph E. (Dana) Carbaugh; two grandchildren, Skyler and Reagan Carbaugh, all of Chambersburg; and two nieces, Tina Line (Ben) and Jody Beam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ronald A. Carbaugh, on October 15, 2021. She and Ron married on June 7, 1964.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road Chambersburg, with Rev. Thomas J. Dunkle officiating. Interment will follow in Norland Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Zion Reformed Church or to Children’s Aid Society.
