Waynesboro gears up for 29th annual business expo

WAYNESBORO – The Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce is set to host its 29th Annual Business Expo on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School. This highly anticipated event promises to be a bustling hub of local commerce and community engagement.

The expo will feature a diverse array of local businesses and non-profit organizations, offering them a platform to showcase their products and services to an expected crowd of nearly 1,000 community members. It serves as an invaluable opportunity for businesses to reconnect with existing customers and attract new ones.

A highlight of the event will be the Waynesboro Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, a beloved tradition that has become synonymous with the expo. Attendees can enjoy a hearty meal while supporting a good cause. The Lions Club has been actively promoting the event, with tickets reportedly selling fast.

Adding to the excitement, visitors will have the chance to participate in Black Out Bingo, with the grand prize being a “trip around Waynesboro” valued between $500 and $1,000 in gift cards, passes and event tickets. This game is expected to create a buzz among attendees and showcase the best of what Waynesboro has to offer.

Families attending the expo will be pleased to find a dedicated Kidz Zone, ensuring entertainment for visitors of all ages.

The Chamber of Commerce, which has been serving the community since 1925, views this event as a crucial part of its mission to enhance the community by fostering business success and building connections. The organization continues to work toward making Waynesboro a premier location for businesses to operate and expand.

Local businesses and non-profits interested in participating have until Feb. 7, to register for the expo. The event will take place at 550 E Second St in Waynesboro with handicap access available off Second Street and main parking located by the sports fields.
