Robert H. Gladfelter, 76, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 2, 1948 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Norman G. and Faye A. Naugle Gladfelter.
Robert was employed in maintenance at Reynolds and Reynolds for 16 years and later at Letterkenny Army Depot as an inspector for twelve years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg. Robert’s favorite pastimes were hunting with his sons and nephews, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife 56 years, Lorraine K. Martin Gladfelter, whom he married on August 17, 1968; three sons, Robert G. Gladfelter (Melody), Danny W. Gladfelter (Paulie), and Tony W. Gladfelter (Angela); two grandsons, Adison and Aiden Gladfelter; three step-grandchildren, Anthony, Brittany and Brandie; nine step-great grandchildren; and one brother, Norman S. Gladfelter. Aside from his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda F. Slifer.
