Lynn Elwood Gsell, 79 passed away on August 25,2024 at home. He was born June 6,1945 in Chambersburg to Clyde and Edna (Rebuck) Gsell. Lynn married Jaylene (Douglas) Gsell on March 19, 1966. They have two children: Melinda (Steven) Ralston and Steven (Kerri) Gsell. They have two grandchildren: Eli and Ivy Gsell. Lynn attended Clay Hill School and Greencastle School. Lynn worked at Frick Company for 46 1/2 years. He liked Hot Wheels and model trains. He rode Harley Davidson motorcycles for many years. He owned a trike. He attended the Germantown Church of God. Lynn is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jaylene and his children and grandchildren. Lynn is preceded in death by Clyde Gsell (father), Edna (Rebuck) Gsell (mother), H.Jacob Gsell (brother), Gene Gsell (brother) and Rose (Gsell) Virts (sister). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Sellers Funeral Home in Chambersburg. A time of visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Pastor Linda Rosenberry will be officiating. Interment will be held at Parklawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
