Mr. Wilbur E. “Wib” Haugh, 87, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.

Born May 24, 1937 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Lionel E. and Helen L. (Stouffer) Haugh.

He and his wife of over 45 years, Beverly A. (Lenharr) Haugh, were married October 28, 1978.

Mr. Haugh was employed as a Cameraman and Pressman for the Record Herald for over 42 years. He retired in 1999.  He also worked at Brake Pontiac, Waynesboro.

He attended Otterbein United Brethren Church, Greencastle.

Mr. Haugh was a car enthusiast who enjoyed cleaning and detailing cars, including his 1971 Ford Torino. He could be found driving stock car at Hagerstown and St. Thomas. He also loved to watch Nascar racing, ride his Harley motorcycle and work in his garden.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Haugh is survived by two daughters, Shelva Eck (Jim) of Mont Alto, PA and Cynthia Clevenger (Terry) of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Chanda Thompson, Terry Clevenger, Jr., James Eck, Jr. and Justin Clevenger; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three siblings, Odessa Statler, Clinton Haugh and Molisa Haugh, all of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Leisha Eck; one sister, Joyes Bowman; and two brothers, Philip Haugh and Ronald Haugh.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 24, 2024 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor David Rawley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Monday morning, in the funeral home.
