Tamiko Louise Burns, a beloved member of the Chambersburg, PA community, passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 48. Born on June 17, 1975, in Weirwood, VA, Tamiko will be remembered for her kind heart and vibrant personality. She was a devoted mother to her son, Albert Anderson, and a cherished sister to her siblings. Tamiko was the beloved daughter of Mable George and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Having joined the Army in April of 1994, Tamiko proudly served her country before her honorable discharge in February 1997. To commemorate Tamiko’s life and legacy, a Celebration of Life will take place on May 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Overflow Community Church. A Private Viewing will be held at Sellers Funeral Home on May 24, 2024, at 10:30 am, followed by a Graveside Service at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on May 28, 2024, at 1:30 pm. Having touched the lives of so many, Tamiko will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
