Mrs. Wanda Sue (Hawbaker) Hoover, 61, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.
Born April 20, 1963 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Linda (Rock) Hawbaker of Shady Grove, PA and the late Wayne Hawbaker.
Wanda graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1981.
She and her husband of over 17 years, Brook H. Hoover, were married on September 6, 2006 in Thousand Islands, NY.
Wanda worked at Martin’s Foods, Maugansville, MD for over 20 years.
She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, fishing, music and taking vacations.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one brother, Wayne A. Hawbaker of Shady Grove; and several extended family members.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 23, 2024 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Ray Kipe officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday evening, in the funeral home.
