Edie was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1959. She was primarily a homemaker but later in life she was employed as the manager of Shoney’s Restaurant, Chambersburg for a number of years. Edie was active in her daughter’s lives from being the best PTA and class mom to leading their Girl Scout Troop. She was a social butterfly and avid reader. Edie loved sewing and crafting.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Kauffman and her significant other, Bill Hammond of Chambersburg and Sherri Kauffman and her significant other, Richard “Dickie” Cuff of Mercersburg, PA.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc. of Chambersburg.
