BOONSBORO, MD- The Town of Boonsboro, Maryland is set to host a special event on Wednesday, May 8 from 7 to 7:30 p.m. at the Boonsboro Town Hall Annex. The event, organized by the Boonsboro Environmental Commission, will feature a presentation on backyard composting by guest speaker Ed Higginbottom, a Master Composter.
During the 30-minute presentation, Higginbottom will provide an overview of the basics of backyard composting and share best practices for successful composting at home. Attendees will learn about the benefits of composting, the different types of composting methods, and how to properly maintain a compost pile or bin.
Following the presentation, Higginbottom will be available to answer questions from the audience. This is an opportunity for attendees to get their specific composting questions answered and learn more about incorporating composting into their daily lives.
