CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Wonder, a food hall concept that allows customers to combine dishes from multiple restaurant menus in one order, plans to open a Franklin County location in spring 2027.
The restaurant is planned for 520 Gateway Ave. in the North Chambersburg Village Center. Wonder officials confirmed the plans earlier this week.
According to a leasing brochure from Bennett Williams Commercial Real Estate, Wonder will occupy suites 3-4, a 3,940-square-foot space next to Dave’s Hot Chicken.
The planned opening would expand Wonder’s presence in central Pennsylvania, where the company has added restaurants in the Harrisburg area and Lancaster and York counties. Its High Pointe Commons location opened in May 2026, followed by a June opening at The Crossings shopping center in Lancaster County. A York County location at 351 Loucks Road was scheduled to open Aug. 6.
Wonder describes its business as a new kind of food hall. Rather than requiring customers to place separate orders with different restaurants, the company allows them to select dishes from multiple menus in a single order. Its website lists pickup, delivery and dine-in options.
The company partners with chefs and restaurants to reproduce their dishes. Its restaurant lineup includes Bobby Flay Steak, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Jota by José Andrés, Tejas Barbecue and Di Fara Pizza.
The Franklin County restaurant is expected to open sometime in spring 2027, though an exact opening date has not been announced.
