CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Salvation Army of Chambersburg is seeking volunteer bell ringers for its holiday kettle campaign, which begins Nov. 13 and continues through Dec. 24.
Individuals, families, groups of friends, churches, businesses and other organizations are invited to participate, according to an announcement from the organization.
The campaign collects donations to help The Salvation Army continue providing services to individuals and families in the community. Volunteers help support that work by ringing bells and encouraging contributions at collection kettles.
The organization is asking community members to give their time during the Christmas season to help make the campaign a success.
Anyone interested in volunteering, either individually or with a group, can call 717-264-6169 or send a message to The Salvation Army of Chambersburg through its Facebook page for information about getting involved.
