Edmund M. Tadych, age 86, passed away on October 27, 2026.
Edmund was born in Steelton, PA, on June 7, 1940, to the late Edward and Carrie Snyder Tadych.
He attended the Steelton High School. Following high school, Edmund entered the United States Marine Corps and served for 21 years as a cryptologist. Following, he worked for 20 years at Letterkenny Army Depot in security. He was very proud of his Marine Corps service and was an avid reader of military history.
Surviving are his daughters: Sharyn Tadych and Stacy Guyer; grandchildren: Hayley, Payton, Erica, Megan and Elliott; great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Adeline, Aiden and Elizah; sisters: Helen John and Catherine Rhone; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by son, Edmund M. Tadych, Jr.; siblings: Beatrice, James, Leon and Mary; as well as a nephew who was raised like a brother, Donald.
A private burial will be held on a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Middletown, Pa
