Mrs. April L. (Krietz) Jacobs, 50, of Meyersdale, PA, passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 24, 2026, in her home.
Born April 21, 1976 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Robert L. Krietz of Waynesboro and the late Mary E. (Yeager) Krietz.
April was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1995.
She was employed various security companies over the years and currently provided transportation to the local Amish community.
An avid lover of animals, April also enjoyed doing diamond art projects.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Henry L. “JR” Jacobs, Jr. who she married November 30, 2023; her daughter, Ireland R. Jacobs, at home; her sister, Joy Elgin-Rideout of San Diego, CA; and a number of extended family members.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles & Virginia Krietz and Donald & Patricia Yeager.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 30, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Burial will follow in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Friday afternoon, in funeral home.
