Hooverville Color Run
Students at Hooverville Elementary School will get the chance to get exercise and get colorful as they participate in the annual Color Run on Thursday, Oct. 15. The goal this year is to raise $20,000 to invest in the school and the students. This includes investments like paying off the costs of the new LED sign, creating artistic murals for the school and the upgrading of playground equipment.
All these goals are designed to improve the overall environment of the school to enhance the experience for students and staff. Every student will get a white Color Run T-shirt that they can wear and get colored during the run.

October means Halloween, which means that it is time for trunk or treat. This year, Fairview Elementary School will be having Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 21, with Mowrey, Hooverville and Summitview having their trunk or treat events on Friday, Oct. 23. The school lots will be filled with superheroes, princesses, ghosts and goblins all out looking for a treat.
