CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Franklin County Area Development Corporation will host its sold-out 38th Annual Industry Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Penn State Mont Alto, 1 Campus Drive, Mont Alto. The event will be held in the Multi-Purpose Activities Center.
A networking reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The awards program will start at 7.
Each year, the organization recognizes businesses and individuals whose investments, leadership and community involvement contribute to Franklin County’s continued economic growth and prosperity. During this year’s program, the group will present its Small Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year awards.
The evening will also include the presentation of the 32nd annual Zane A. Miller Award, which recognizes an individual whose exceptional and sustained contributions have advanced economic development in Franklin County. The award honors the legacy of Zane A. Miller, a dedicated champion of local business growth and community vitality.
This year’s featured entertainment will be nationally recognized mentalist and entertainer Craig Karges. For more than 40 years, Karges has entertained audiences around the world with a unique performance combining mystery, psychology, intuition and audience participation. He has made thousands of appearances in 27 countries.
