SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Uprise Festival will return to the Shippensburg Community Fairgrounds Sept. 11-12, bringing more than 40 Christian music artists and speakers to the two-day event.
Gospel singer CeCe Winans, Christian rock band Skillet, worship artist Brandon Lake and Christian hip-hop performer TobyMac will headline the 2026 festival. Crowder is also included among the announced performers.
The festival is scheduled to open at noon Friday, Sept. 11, and at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. Organizers said the event will take place rain or shine.
Winans, a Grammy-winning gospel vocalist whose career includes performances as a solo artist and as part of BeBe & CeCe Winans, is set to perform Saturday. Her honors include 18 Grammy Awards, as well as recognition on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame.
Skillet and TobyMac are slated for Friday’s lineup. Skillet, formed in 1996, has built an audience across Christian and mainstream rock, with songs including “Monster.” TobyMac first gained national attention as a member of DC Talk before beginning a solo career that has produced 10 albums and seven Grammy Awards.
Lake, whose recent work includes “King of Hearts” and the Grammy-winning song “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” will perform Saturday.
In addition to the main stage, Uprise will feature other music stages, a children’s program, a petting zoo, inflatables, food and merchandise vendors. The festival also offers camping, though a camping pass does not include festival admission.
Children ages 6 and younger will be admitted free with a ticketed adult. Admission prices increase by $25 on the day of the festival.
