It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Luanne (Foreman) Martin on Thursday, September 3 2026 following a 21-month battle with cancer. Born January 8, 1977 Jennifer was the beloved daughter of Anne (Lawrence) Foreman and the late Dennis Foreman. She married Jason Martin on November 17, 2007.
Jennifer graduated from CASHS in 1995, and Hagerstown Community College in 1997 with a degree in accounting. She was self employed as a Tax Preparer since 1999. Jennifer was previously employed at Record City, Modern Homes, Wolf Furniture, and most recently Colony House Furniture. Her love of 80’s rock music, especially poison and Bret Michaels led to her being involved with local rock band IN-KAHOOTZ for 10 years.
In addition to her husband and mother, Jennifer is survived by her sister Christine Leighty (Ron), her beloved nieces; Corinne Leighty and Kelsey Buterbaugh (Corey Smith); mother-in-law, Crystal Gottfried; brother-in-law Cory Gottfried; and father-in law Mike Martin (Debbie Christman). She is also survived by her best friends since middle school, Megan Messner (Denny) and children Tyler, Conner, and Tristyn Messner, and Melissa Fochtman and her son Patrick.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Joseph and Louise Lawrence and paternal grandparents; Donald Foreman and Florence Goshorn; and step-father-in-law, Dave Gottfried.
Jennifer loved planning get-togethers, cook outs, birthday parties, holiday celebrations and cookie days for family and friends. She especially enjoyed planning the itinerary for her family’s annual beach vacation.
Jennifer was a member of the St. Thomas-Edenville United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the St. Thomas-Edenville United Methodist Church, 360 St. Thomas-Edenville Road, St. Thomas, PA. 17252 ON Saturday, October 3 2026 from 1-5.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to Family House 5308 Liberty Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15224 OR St. Thomas-Edenville United Methodist Church.
