Margaret L. Blazo, 81, passed away surrounded by love and care at the Chambersburg Hospital August 14, 2026. Born June 1, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of Katherine (Smith) Behling and Hilbert W. Behling.
Although mostly a stay-at-home mother, she was a secretary to the family business and a cashier for SunnyWay Foods in Chambersburg for 12 years as her most recent. There, she made many friends who were close until the end. She loved animals, decorating, The Eagles and laughter. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved Celtic music.
She is survived by husband, Robert L. Blazo, brother, David H. Behling and son, Christopher R. Blazo. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Hilbert and Katherine.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Donations in Margaret’s name may be made to the ASPCA or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
