SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — The Franklin County Farm Bureau will host its 36th annual Franklin Fall Farm Fun Fest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at 115 Clearfield Road in Shippensburg.
Randell and Helen Martin will host the free family event, which is designed to connect residents with agriculture through hands-on educational activities and farm experiences.
Admission and parking will be free. Visitors also will receive free milk and ice cream while supplies last.
Activities will include farm wagon tours and an opportunity for attendees to milk a cow by hand. The event is organized by the Franklin County Farm Bureau and its Agricultural Education and Promotion Committee.
Lunch will be available for purchase at the FFA food stand.
The annual event offers families a chance to learn more about local farming and the role agriculture plays in the community. Organizers encourage residents to save the date and watch for additional event updates.
