WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Church of the Apostles UCC is inviting members of the community to participate in an eight-week DVD group centered on the second season of “The Chosen,” a historical drama series about the life of Jesus.
The group will meet from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. every Wednesday starting Sept. 16 and concluding Nov. 4 at the church, located at 336 Barnett Ave. in Wayne Heights.
Each weekly session will feature a screening of one of the eight episodes from the show’s second season, followed by a dedicated time for comments and questions from participants.
The sessions will be facilitated by Pastor Mark Ruzicka and Bob Benchoff.
